RWBY takes our anime slot this issue, although it’s more of an American animated web series from the creators of the fabled online series Red vs Blue. It follows four girls who together form RWBY (Ruby) that each train to be huntresses at the Beacon Academy in the city of Vale. Hunters and Huntresses have special abilities they use to battle the Grimm, forces and creatures hostile to the world of Remnant where they all reside.
Although the animation is a little different to what I’m used to, the storyline is absolutely sublime. It’s definitely something you should watch if you’re looking for a new action adventure series to dig your teeth into. Take a look at the first episode below and then just keep watching. You won’t regret it!
